The Lamborghini Club America welcomes DAOU Family Estates to the 2021 Roger Dubuis Serata Italiana. Brothers Georges Daou and Daniel Daou set forth across the globe to find an unrivaled terroir for producing Cabernet Sauvignon, a quest that led them to a place of foretold greatness: DAOU Mountain in the Adelaida District of Paso Robles.

Situated on a 212-acre hilltop estate in the Adelaida District of Paso Robles, this remarkable mountain was once described by André Tchelistcheff, legendary winemaking authority, as “a jewel of ecological elements”.
At this year’s Roger Dubuis Serata Italiana, DAOU Winery will be pouring DAOU Discovery Rose Magnums 2020, DAOU Discovery Chardonnay 2020, and DAOU Reserve Cabernet 2019.
2020 DAOU Discovery Rose- Inspired by the renowned rosé wines of Provence, France, our 2020 DAOU Discovery Collection Rosé remains faithful to its origins. This wine is remarkably fragrant, offering generous aromas of fresh peach, Bartlett pear and nectarine, with subtle notes of hyacinth, apricot and crushed rose petals. The palate is delightfully silky, underlying a clean, fresh crispness delivering enticing flavors of mango, Crenshaw melon, lemon chiffon and tangerine. Secondary layers reveal hints of sweet cherry and vanilla with orange peel accents. A luxurious and lasting finish leaves traces of apple pie, strawberry and kiwi.

2020 DAOU Discovery Chardonnay – The 2020 Chardonnay presents luscious aromas of pineapple, pear and Granny Smith apple with appealing hints of lemon chiffon, nectarine and honeysuckle. As the experience unfolds, the nose further reveals hints of star jasmine, nutmeg and vanilla bean. The palate is plush and graceful, offering mouthwatering flavors of peach, mango, kiwi and fresh Crenshaw melon. The rich fruit is perfectly complemented by suggestions of lemon zest and baking spice, while a voluptuous finish lingers with notes of pineapple, guava and hazelnut.

2019 DAOU Reserve Cabernet – The 2019 DAOU Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a shining example of world-class Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles. This wine’s magnificent nose is quintessential Cabernet Sauvignon, offering scents of dark chocolate, licorice, blackberries and cured meats with a touch of cedar. The palate delivers an explosion of fresh, dark berry fruits. Flavors of blackberry, juicy black cherry, cassis and cocoa are underscored by lovely accents of blueberry and raspberry.
